COM340: Exploring Women's Sports
Professors Hillary Haldane (anthropology) and Molly Yanity (journalism) have developed a unique, interdisciplinary experience for Quinnipiac University students culminating with a trip to the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. During the Spring 2023 semester, students will learn in class about the global landscape for women in sport, sports media, as well as the histories and context of women's sport in the World Cup's host nations before embarking on a July-August journey to Sydney, Australia.
